This is an obituary, not an interview, because this great band have unfortunately split up here it comes; 

The band was started in '88 by Werner Heyckendorff (guitar) and Peter Olsen (guitar). Later came Peter Lundgren (drums) and Kenneth Jørgensen, and for a while a singer called Rolf Denmann, but he got replaced by Brian Albrechtsen. They played 2 gigs with that line-up in the spring of '90. One of them was supporting MUCKY PUP in Nakskov, and the other was a local gig with 6 other bands. Brian and Peter O. left the band in the summer '90, and later also Peter L. (to play drums in RIGID DOMAIN). They got replaced by Anders Høg (guitar/vocals) and Kim Kristensen (drums) (both ex-INTERRUPTION). When Anders and Kim joined the band, they changed their music, from thrashcore to death metal. Then they made their fabulous "Presto Fortissimo" demo (which means fast and powerful). (They have also made two videos with the old line-up, but unfortunately none of them were for sale, but they were showed on Næstved Local tv & TV STOP from Copenhagen). The band played live with KONKHRA and FURIOUS TRAUMA in Copenhagen, with INSANE and SQUIRM in Næstved, and once again in Næstved with RIGID DOMAIN. The cover on the "Presto Fortissimo" demo (made by ex-singer Brian, also known for his drawings in PROGRESS) was a concept; death is not real(???-CM), the band believed in reincarnation, instead of the usual "death is the end," and that's why he called the band IMMORTAL. Later Kim left the band (he got very religious), and the band split up. He didn't want to be christian and play death metal at the same time, so he chosed his religion. Later he changed his mind (about the music) and the band started again, but only as a fun-band and without Anders. R.I.P.
