Aha, endnu en „vi er hurtigere og mere brutale end alle de andre” band. INFERNAL TORMENT ræser af sted det bedste de har lært, og det lyder ærligt talt ikke for smart! Indie i coveret står nok så flot (med skriften i kursiv) at der ikke er nogen effekter på vokalen, hvilket får én til at tro at sangeren har en meget brutal stemme, men nej, der behøves bestemt ingen effekter til at gøre dette efter. OK, Scott (sangeren) er da brutal og musikken ligeså, men det er ikke så specielt som bandet hele tiden lader på. Det er fedt nok, der kan ikke siges to stentimer uden at bruge ordet „brutal“, men faktisk mange death/grind bands skulle lige se dem, ellers lige så brutale som INFERNAL TORMENT. Vi skal selvfølgelig ikke jorde bandet fuldstændig, og dette er jo kun en demo, så bandet kan roligt øve sig op til sig hurtigere og mere brutale sæt. Musikken er en anelse ensforming, efter min smag, og lyden kunne være bedre. Bandet, som spiller death/grind a’la CANNIBAL CORPSE og SUFFOCATION, skal nok svare nyt af vejen, men som nok bliver bedre, lydmæssigt ihverftald. Coveret er egentlig ret godt lavet, så måske skulle „true“ death/grind keendes disse 7 numre af 40kr. fra: Scott Jensen / Lindoparken 1 / v. 1474

Kilnamanagh, Dublin 24, Ireland. (IC) INFERNAL TORMENT "Inability On The Cross" Demo If you combine ‘Swedish’ guitarplaying with fast, American-styled Death Metal, the result is brutal. Nevertheless, it’s the best description of I.T. Sure, I.T. need to improve a little to get their ‘own’ sound, but this ain’t bad at all. A brutal, fast, and wellproduced assault, available from Lindeparken 1.V.1474.

Infernal Torment are definately the fastest Danish death metal-band! The Band, though, Don’t come up with anything new - they just play death metal the best they’ve been taught with strong influences from U.S.-based Cannibal Corpse and Suffocation. The sound is pretty muddy and chaotic and the music just goes in through one of your ears and out through the other. But if Infernal Torment’s goal was to become the fastest death-band from DK, they succeeded in that part.
